Don’t hide this information from any medical provider you might see, whether dentist, doctor, ER, imaging/diagnostic facility.
These people and other medical professionals should know you are pregnant so you can protect your baby from harmful drugs or procedures (like getting an X-ray).
Regarding Antibiotics
There are some antibiotics that are ok to take during pregnancy.
Some you should be in a later stage of pregnancy before using.
Some you shouldn’t take during late stages but they are ok to take in the early stages of pregnancy.
Sometimes, within the same class, some antibiotics are a no-no to take throughout pregnancy while others are safe.
Some you shouldn’t take at all during pregnancy or when nursing.
It all depends on the antibiotic.
Check with your pharmacist or doctor to make sure your medicine is safe for both you AND your baby.
And congratulations! You’re glowing, Gorgeous.
Get some rest. You’re the ONLY ONE who can grow that baby.
As always, discuss this information with your doctor.
